Heather Locklear doesnt care if she and fianc Chris Heisser marry

Heather Locklear is just riding the wave of life.

The “Melrose Place” alum revealed in a new interview that she is not in a rush to marry her fiancé, Chris Heisser, after they got engaged in April 2020.

“I’m like, ‘You’re my man for the rest of my life, whether we get married or not,’” she told People on Thursday. “[A wedding] is so not important. We’re together, and we love each other and support each other. And really that’s all that matters.”

Locklear and Heisser, both 60, met as teenagers and graduated from Newbury Park High School near Los Angeles together in 1979.

They rekindled their relationship in 2017 but broke up multiple times before the actress got sober in 2019.

The couple recently celebrated their birthdays, which are just days apart.

“[Heisser], because his birthday is two days before mine, said, ‘Can you believe we’re turning 60?’ And I said, ‘I can’t wait,’” she told the magazine. “I feel young. I’m a young 60. It’s all about perspective.

“I’ve always loved getting older because it means I’m alive,” she explained. “I’m so grateful. I don’t really give a hoot. I don’t give a hoot about how I look. My parents still love me. My daughter loves me.”

Locklear shares Ava Sambora, 24, with Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora. She was married to the rocker, 62, from 1994 until 2007.

The former “Hot in Cleveland” star was previously married to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee from 1986 until 1993. They did not have any children together.
